Tomasz Jungst
University of Würzburg,
Germany
Tomasz Jungst studied nanostructural engineering at the University of Würzburg and earned his Ph.D. at the Department of Functional Materials in Medicine and Dentistry, where he developed new 3D-printing methods for biofabrication and regenerative medicine.
He is now a Junior Professor in the same department at the University Hospital Würzburg, where his research focuses on bioprinting techniques and the biofabrication of biomimetic vascular grafts and cardiovascular tissues. His team advances bioprinting technologies by integrating and optimizing them to produce tissue constructs with greater structural complexity and improved functionality.
