Podium Presentation Guidelines

To ensure the smooth flow of the scientific program, please follow these instructions:

Slide Upload

  • Upload your presentation at the Speaker-ready Desk no later than the day before your session for testing and compatibility checks.

Speaker Arrival

  • Be in the session/symposium room 10 minutes before the start to meet Chairs and prepare

Presentation Timing

  • Keynote Speakers: 18 min + 2 min discussion
  • Oral Presentations: 8 min + 2 min discussion
  • Rapid-fire Talks: 5 min
  • Time limits are strict; chairpersons will stop speakers who exceed their slot.

Technical Guidelines

  • Formats: PowerPoint (.ppt/.pptx) or PDF
  • System: Windows 10, Microsoft Office 365
  • Personal laptops: Not permitted; bring your presentation on a USB drive
  • Videos: Embed in PowerPoint
  • Fonts: Use standard fonts (e.g., Arial, Times, Helvetica)
  • Readability: Ensure text, figures, and images are clear from a distance
  • Final check: Review formatting, readability, and spelling
  • Mandatory disclosure: Include a disclosure slide immediately after the title slide listing relevant affiliations or financial interests.
