Dr. Marcin K. Heljak is an Assistant Professor in the Biomaterials Group at the Faculty of Materials Science and Engineering, Warsaw University of Technology, Poland. His research focuses on: (i) computer modeling of systems and processes in bioengineering, with particular emphasis on the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in the design of tissue engineering scaffolds; (ii) development of drug delivery systems for ophthalmology; and (iii) computational modeling in mechanobiology. Dr. Heljak earned his PhD in Materials Science from Warsaw University of Technology.
