Julián Carlos Flores González is an Associate Professor at the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC), Spain, where he teaches in the Computer Engineering and Artificial Intelligence programs. With a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence (1996) and a postdoctoral stay at Georgia Tech, his research spans over 30 competitive R&D projects and numerous collaborations with industry. His current work focuses on the application of AI in additive manufacturing, optimizing 3D model design and process supervision. He is also co-founder of two university-based spin-offs dedicated to technology transfer.
