Giuseppe Orlando

Dr. Giuseppe Orlando is a kidney and pancreas transplant surgeon scientist and Professor of Surgery and Regenerative Medicine at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, USA. His pioneering research focuses on the bioengineering and regeneration of transplantable organs and the development of therapies to harness the body’s innate capacity for self-repair. With a unique background that bridges transplant and regenerative medicine, Dr. Orlando has made significant contributions to advancing organ biofabrication and improving transplant outcomes.
