An electronics engineer with a PhD in Bioengineering, Giovanni Vozzi is a full professor of Bioengineering at the University of Pisa.
He has authored several articles in international journals and patents, with a focus spanning from the development of new micro- and nanofabrication technologies to biofabrication and their application to biomedical engineering. He and his research group also work on the design of the design and development of new dynamic cell culture environments, the characterization of biomaterials, and the development of in vitro and in silico cell models.
